Lavo Italian Restaurant & Lounge
Start at Lavo Italian Restaurant (dinner is served daily from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m.) with options such as “The Meatball,” 16 ounces of ground imperial wagyu, Italian sausage and veal served with whipped ricotta and a generous seafood platter, then slip on over to Lavo Lounge to imbibe on wines and spirits. Don’t forget a specialty cocktail—Lavolini sounds like a winner!
During the winter months, one of the best daytime parties can be found here as well. Lavo Party Brunch (Saturdays, 2:00–6:00 p.m.) has become a bit of a fixture during the cooler months, filling that dayclub pool party void.
There’s also a regular brunch (Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.), minus the confetti, year-round.
Stupak’s Note
“The only brunch party in Vegas, the crowd looks like an Entourage episode. The ratio is about 80% girls, 20% guys. Lavo starts at the perfect time (2pm), especially when you’ve had a long night before and don’t want to wake up too early.”
Behind the Ropes
Alfresco: If you prefer eating Strip-side, Lavo offers a terrace along Las Vegas Boulevard, though; it’s not always open so be sure to call in advance.
Mix and Mingle: The downstairs lounge is one of the most spacious rooms to grab a pre- or post-dinner bevy, while the upstairs lounge/private events space is perfect to host a gathering.
